Full plant room refurbishment to upgrade hot water and heating systems. Working with M&E specialists Parr Group, Bmech effectively interpreted the client's requirements to install new efficient plant room equipment, at the Woolston Neighbourhood Hub; part of the Warrington Live Wire Leisure Centres. Work included: safe isolation and decommissioning of old water and heating systems, removal of redundant pipework, installation of free issue plant items and modifications to system pipework to suit new plant items.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Bmech’s expert organisational skills and experience facilitated the centre staying operational where possible, while the installation took place. Specialist welding services both on and off-site reduced fire risk and improved installation times. Supply and fit all gas pipework to newly installed plant, low loss header fabrication and pipework connections to CHP unit installed by others. Testing & purging and certification production for installation.
