Isolation, strip out and refitting of the LTHW heating flow and return pipework. This pipework was serving air handling units (AHU), three units were replaced.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Providing specialist contractor works, at the prestigious Christie Hospital, Manchester. Working alongside other trades to ensuring that work was coordinated to cause minimum disruption to the AHU systems and the hospital where possible. Pipework safely isolated, drained and removed, including any associated valves to allow for the new wall installation. Once the wall was complete returned to reconnect the pipework to the AHU’s. New insulation, and fully tested to ensure the system was back fully operational in the quickest possible time.
